My Bio
Atticus Finch is a fictional character in Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus is a lawyer and resident of the fictional Maycomb County, Alabama, and the father of Jeremy Atticus "Jem" Finch and Jean Louise "Scout" Finch. Atticus is a central character in the novel. In an interview once held with Harper Lee, she told that she had based Atticus's character after her close friend Nick Velillari, who was also a lawyer. In 2003, Atticus Finch, as portrayed by Gregory Peck in the 1962 film adaptation, was voted by the American Film Institute to be the greatest hero in American film.

Atticus is a worn old man. If he doesn't like doing a certain thing, he'll say he's too old for it. Or maybe he's too old for it, who knows.
He loves his children. In fact, he loves children in general. He loves to act as a father figure to anyone who isn't an adult.
He misses his wife dearly to the point of just forgetting about falling in love at all. He's nervous when it comes to romance, and quite frankly, he tries not to get involved in romance. It makes him think of his wife, which makes him feel hollow inside. He hates that feeling.
He will NOT tolerate anyone cursing. If you curse regularly, expect him to correct you every time you utter any word considered 'taboo'.
He doesn't like to show off his marksmanship skills, but when he has to, he will. But don't try to pressure him into it, he won't do it then. Only when a gun is absolutely necessary will he draw one out.
He is a gentleman in every sense of the word. He believes in chivalry and the belief that all men are equal. He is very friendly and will most likely be the best person to have a chat with when you need one.

[ Note: I am SO sorry if I fail as Atticus. ;~; Any tips on Roleplaying him would be AMAZING. I'd probably love you forever if you helped me out. Just a notice before I fail big time. .n. ]

Cynric sat alone in a field, staring at the sky, the boy was upset. It seemed like his own Father hated him, he sighed, whispering, "Why? Why did she have to die?.." He yelped as somebody came up behind him, and he stared up at Atticus, scrambling to his feet.
Atticus looked down at the boy with a look of concern.
"Why did who have to die, son?"
Without realizing it Cynric spoke softly, "My Mother....I just feel like...my Father doesn't want me."
